Catch-up

I've been MIA from my blog for awhile and thought I'd share this picture of Kinsley from her first day as a new Sunbeam at church. I love this photo of Kinsley and her ridiculous expression. She's always full of jokes and funny faces leaving us cracking up all the time. She totally loves being a Sunbeam--as expected, and thinks she's so grown-up now. As a result during our family home evenings she always volunteers to say the prayer and makes me or Shawn hold our thumb up to mimic the primary microphone. She's just too cute!

G-man is constantly surprising us with his ever increasing vocabulary. He's been putting words together to form small sentences and loves to mimic everything anyone around him is saying. He's turned into quite the little independent and has to be watched ever so closely to keep him from getting himself into a pickle! He loves to read books and spends most of his time gripping a story in hand and thrusting it into my face while shouting it's title "la McQueen" aka Cars, or "BC" Dr. Seuss's ABC book. He never gets sick of sitting in our laps to hear a story--or ten! He can name most of his body parts but my favorite are his toes of which he endearingly calls "little piggies." Here's a photo of Grant over Christmas sitting on his new Thomas from Grandma and Grandpa Sorensen. He's obsessed with Thomas and was positively thrilled when he opened his gift. Can't wait to discover more of his personality as the months go by and he becomes even more expressive. Ahh kids are so fun!

They are both getting so big. You two make great looking kids. They have such gorgeous eyes, a lot like their mothers. 8)

Miss you and thinking a lot about you lately.

Adelyn is a very proud Sunbeam too. At first, she wanted me to stay with her. I checked in with the Primary President later and they said they lost saw her proudly skipping down the hall hand-in-hand with her teacher. It's crazy how fast these kids grow up! These pictures are perfect!
